- Ocho Rios boasts some of the worlds most luxurious private homes and resorts in the Caribbean. Located on the North coast of Jamaica, Ocho Rios was formally a fishing village and is now a bustling port town and popular resort destination. - The surrounding parish of St Ann is home to a rainforest, rivers and waterfalls. Dunn’s River Falls is a terraced, 180 metre mountain waterfall with lagoon pools surrounded by trees. St Ann’s Parish is the largest parish in Jamaica, and sits in the county of Middlesex. Kingston is the capital and largest city in Jamaica with a population of 940,000 people. Jamaica is known locally as the “Land of Wood and Water” or the “Land of the Springs”. The climate is tropical, supporting a diverse ecosystem, and it is home to freshwater turtles, many types of tree frogs, and an abundance of tropical exotic birds.

The most famous include the Blue Hole lagoon, surrounded by lush greenery and exotic flowers, and offering a great opportunity to swim and relax in the natural falls. Dunn’s River Falls are another of Jamaica’s national treasures and at Dolphin Cove you can interact with dolphins, sharks and stingrays as well as understand more about these species. Fans of James Bond films can visit James Bond Beach that sits on a small peninsular at Oracabessa Bay. This is where author Ian Fleming lived in his aptly named house ‘Goldeneye’ and wrote his famous books about a British spy called Bond. There are an abundance of beaches to visit, plenty of hiking and biking to enjoy through rainforests, and you are never far from Jamaican reggae music, made famous by Jamaican resident and global superstar, Bob Marley.

Every January there is a Jazz and Blues Festival held in Montego Bay and every February is Reggae Month with a calendar of activities which really cement Jamaica as the reggae mecca of the world. March and April welcome the Kiteboarding World Cup and Montego Bay Easter Regatta, as well as Carnival. There are also seafood carnivals, fashion weeks and art festivals throughout the year. Fishing is a popular activity around Jamaica, and Montego Bay hosts international marlin tournaments during October.
